What is NRFI Betting?

NRFI betting, or No Runs First Inning betting, is a type of bet that involves predicting whether or not a run will be scored in the first inning. If you bet NRFI, you are betting that no runs will be scored in the first inning. Betting on YRFI, you are betting that at least one run will be scored in the first inning.

Why is No Runs First Inning so Popular?

  • It’s a quick bet with a quick payout. NRFI bets are settled within the first six outs of the game, so you don’t have to wait hours to find out if you won. This makes them a popular choice for bettors who want to get in and out of a bet quickly.
  • It’s a relatively low-risk bet. The odds on NRFI bets are typically -120 or -130, which means that you need to risk $120 or $130 to win $100. This makes them a more attractive option for bettors who are looking to minimize their risk.
  • It’s a bet that can be profitable over time. According to TeamRankings.com, the average MLB team scores a run in the first inning in about 40% of their games. This means that if you bet on NRFI 100 times, you would expect to win about 60 times. If you bet no runs first inning with -120 odds, you would expect to make a profit of $200.

How Often do NRFI Picks Win?

NRFI bets hit in about 52% of games over the past 3 years (2019-2022). This means that there is a slightly better than 50/50 chance that no runs will be scored in the first inning of a baseball game.

The NRFI hit rate has been relatively consistent over the past 3 years. In 2019, the NRFI hit in 52.1% of games. In 2020, the NRFI hit in 51.9% of games. And in 2021, the NRFI hit in 52.2% of games.

What Team is the Best NRFI Bet this Season?

no runs first inning - marlins

The best NRFI bet so far this season is the Miami Marlins.

The Marlins have one of the strongest starting rotations in the MLB this season. Their starters have combined to allow an average of just 2.4 runs per game in the first inning. This is the lowest in the league. On offense the Marlins are not a very powerful team. This means that they are less likely to score. The Marlins have scored an average of just 3.2 runs per game in the first inning.

What Team is the Worst NRFI Pick this Season?

no runs first inning - red sox

The worst no runs first inning bet this season is the Boston Red Sox. They have a 14-48 NRFI bet record, which is the worst in the MLB. The Red Sox have been very inconsistent in the first inning this season. They have allowed runs in 71.8% of their games

The Red Sox have one of the worst starting rotations in the MLB this season. Their starters have combined to allow an average of 4.2 runs per game in the first inning. This is one of the highest 1st inning totals in the league. Sloppy defense is another reason we don’t recommend making a no runs first inning bet today on the Red Sox. Boston is very sloppy in the field this season, and they have made a lot of errors. This has led to a lot of unearned runs, and it has made it very difficult for them to prevent runs.

On offense The Red Sox have some pop. They are a very high-scoring offense, which means that they are more likely to score. They have scored an average of 4.8 runs per game in the first inning, which is the highest in the league.

What Sportsbooks are the Best for NRFI Bets?

Sure, here are some of the best sportsbooks to bet NRFI, including BetRivers, WynnBET, and PointsBet:

  • DraftKings: DraftKings is one of the most popular sportsbooks in the United States, and they offer a wide variety of NRFI betting options. They also have some of the best odds for NRFI bets.
  • FanDuel: FanDuel is another popular sportsbook, and they offer a similar variety of NRFI betting options as DraftKings.
  • BetMGM: BetMGM is a well-established sportsbook with a wide variety of NRFI bets
  • Caesars: Caesars is a newer sportsbook, but they have quickly become one of the most popular in the United States. They offer a wide variety of NRFI betting options, and their odds are competitive.
  • BetRivers: BetRivers offers a wide variety of NRFI bets, and their odds are competitive with other sportsbooks
  • PointsBet: PointsBet is a sportsbook that focuses on offering unique betting options, such as their PointsBetting system. They offer a limited number of NRFI betting options, but their odds are competitive.

No Runs First Inning Betting Tips

Sure, here are some NRFI betting tips:

  • Do your research: Before you make any NRFI bets, it is important to do your research and understand the factors that can affect the outcome. This includes the starting pitchers for each team, the home field advantage, and the recent performance of each team.
  • Be selective: Not every game is a good NRFI betting opportunity. It is important to be selective and only bet on games where you have a good chance of winning.
  • Manage your bankroll: Manage your bankroll and only bet money that you can afford to lose.
  • Have fun: NRFI betting can be a lot of fun, so don’t take it too seriously. Just enjoy the game and see if you can come out ahead.
  • Pay attention to the weather: The weather can have a big impact on the outcome of an NRFI bet. For example, if it is a cold and windy day, it will be more difficult for hitters to score. This makes it less likely that a run will be scored in the first inning.

How Many No Runs First Inning Picks for Today?

I give out as many no runs first inning (NRFI) picks for today as I think will hit. I don’t pick every game, but I may give out 1, 2, or 3 NRFI picks a day. It depends on how I feel about the matchups and the starting pitchers. I want to make sure that I’m only picking games that I have a good chance of winning. It doesn’t feel right to give out picks just for the sake of giving out picks. I want to give out picks that I’m confident in.

Can you bet Yes Runs First Inning?

Yes Runs First Inning (YRFI) bets are the opposite of NRFI bets. For YRFI bets, you are betting that there will be a run scored in the first inning of the game. It is a much more difficult bet to make than NRFI, so I do not give out these picks. Tthere are too many factors that can affect whether or not a run is scored in the first inning.

It is very difficult to identify which games are likely to score a run in the first inning. That’s why I do not give out YRFI picks. I would rather focus on NRFI picks, which are a much safer bet.

Do you Bet all of these NRFI Picks?

Yes, if there is a no runs first inning pick on this page I bet it in real life. I will bet the spread to win $100 at the least if not double the spread to win $200 on every game. I love no runs first inning, it is a real rush, and really scary. Fun but scary. Come on this NRFI ride with me!

How Good are your No Runs First Inning Bets?

As I am writing this the last week in August, my NRFI picks have a 62.86% success rate, which is above the 50% break-even point. This means if you tailed all of my no runs first inning picks you would be profitable.

If you had bet an equal amount to the spread so you would win $100 on each of your NRFI picks, you would be up $595.

A 62.86% success rate is a good number, but it is important to remember that no betting system is perfect. There will always be some losing days. However, over the long run, you should be profitable if you tail my no runs first inning picks.
